Sourced, processed and marketed by Coffee Day, Single Origin Coffee is coffee that delivers an unadulterated expression of what its origins have to offer. The range covered 6 coffee-growing regions across India and the world. I was given the opportunity to design the packaging for this range that would create a distinct identity for each of them, true to their origins.

People who appreciate the value of single origin coffee also appreciate the value of their unique origin stories.

Research revealed that each bean is the result of careful tending and is plucked by native coffee growers; it carries not only the unique flavours and aromas of its motherland, but also heralds the land’s rich heritage. The packaging celebrates this with a visual narration of the bean’s story. Each pack depicts the farmer at work in their traditional garb, and tells fascinating stories of the farming cultures unique to each origin in order to reinforce the distinctive nature of the coffee. Vibrant patterns, colours, typography, and aesthetics from each region round out the depiction of a singular experience.
