Hyvä is an organic skincare brand for men and women. They solely use ethically sourced natural ingredients and do not test their products on animals. I was entrusted with the task of forging their identity through packaging design that communicated organicness, gender neutrality and accessible luxury.
INSIGHT
The promise of organic is best made by showing customers exactly what their products contain in their rawest form.

After trials and tribulations, we went with a concept that embodied their values and created the strongest connection with customers, allowing them to experience the product even before opening it.
The final brand identity and packaging exhibited a strong balance between natural, graphic, luxuriant, and minimal elements. An abstract pattern, mirroring the design of the soap, was created with turmeric and charcoal powders and photographed for the soap packaging. For the body polish, a circular pattern was created with brown sugar and cinnamon to mimic the circular scrubbing motion suggested for using the product.
